ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “In 2025 we banned 16 thousand competitions for 180 thousand places. It is clear that a young man coming out of high school or university in front of such a wide offer can be confused. But just explain to Camilla what their expectations are, what are the studies done and in which part of the country you live, to get a range of opportunities to suit your expectations.” Paolo Zangrillo, Minister for Public Administration, says this in an interview with “Il Messaggero” explaining how the Avatar Camilla, generated by artificial intelligence, leads to those who want to participate in a public competition, with the inscription of the InPa app. A solution that should make access to young people easier, although it is still necessary to solve “the structural problems of the public employment. And I can say that in these years we have taken them all in breast, and not infrequently with a certain assertivity,” explains Zangrillo. “When I arrived, the first problem I had to deal with was that of recruitment procedures. Let’s say that an organization that wants to be attractive cannot afford that a contest lasts two and a half years on average. For this reason, even with the help of the Federico II University of Naples, we have digitized all the procedures and created a portal, InPa, which today is the only gateway to public work. A portal that in the last two years has recorded an incredible boom, reaching 2.8 million registered profiles”. On the average duration of a competition, the Minister states that “from the call to recruitment, we are around 4 months. Thanks to this, in three years we managed to hire about 600 thousand people, inverting, for the first time after years, the tendency to reduce public employees”.
