Trapianti, Fontana all’Aido “The practice of gift has an invaluable value”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Initiatives like this bear witness to the vitality of an Italy that attributes to the practice of the gift an invaluable value and have the merit to draw attention to the constant commitment of those who offer time, energy and help to those who need more. Giving means recognizing the other as part of itself, cultivating bonds of trust and contributing to the common good, nourishing the hope of an ever more just and just society.” Thus the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, in a message to the Aido on the occasion of the 18th National Assembly.

“It should not be forgotten – Fontana points out – that the contribution of individuals is as much more effective as is accompanied by the irreplaceable work of associations and organizations in the sector. I am referring to reality as A.I.D.O., which for over fifty years has embarked on a path based on civic responsibility and awareness with the aim of raising citizenship and promoting the dissemination of a solid culture of generosity”.

“Even thanks to your tireless activity, in Italy donations and transplants are experiencing a positive season, with peaks of excellence in regions such as Veneto, Tuscany and Piedmont”, concludes Fontana.
