ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Federation of Orders of Italian pharmacists (Fofi) hopes that they can resume negotiations as soon as possible for the definition of a new Ccnl of employees of private pharmacies and that the unions of workers and employers can find, in rapid times, the appropriate convergences for a contractual renewal that recognize and value the professional role of pharmacists collaborators. The Federation, which does not have an active role in bargaining, invites workers’ unions to reconsider the contractual framework of employee pharmacists, providing for the transition from the current special sector of trade to the health sector, with the definition of a specific contract.
“An evolution consistent with the functions that the pharmacist today exercises within the National Health Service and the proximity care system,” he notes. In anticipation of the technical times necessary for a possible change of framework, the Federation invites a shared reflection on the opportunity to introduce, already in the current renewal of the Ccnl, a specific professional allowance for pharmacists collaborators, as recognition of their health role in the service of the community.
Fofi will continue to support every path aimed at strengthening the professional and contractual recognition of pharmacists, in the interest of the category and public health, hoping that the comparison between trade unions can lead in a short time to the definition of a fair, sustainable contract and consistent with the role of pharmacists in Italian health.
