The European Commission gives the ninth rata of the Italian Pnrr, Meloni: “Consolidated the primacy of results achieved”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The European Commission has given its free start to the ninth rata of the Italian Pnrr, amounting to 12.8 billion. It has announced on social media the executive vice president of the European Commission with delegates to the Coesione and the Riforme, Raffaele Fito.

“With this tranche, the total funds allocated to Italy reach approximately 166 billion, equal to 85% of the total resources provided for by the Plan,” says Fitto, adding that “the reforms and related investments support important changes for citizens and businesses: more efficient public administration, faster justice and the strengthening of the educational system”.

Among the main measures, Fitto recalls “the involvement of at least 3 million people in active labour policies, of which more than 600,000 already formed; the reduction of the backwards in administrative justice by more than 80%, with a significant improvement of the efficiency of the system; the educational support to 44,000 minors of the noon; the renewal of the fleet of Firefighters with over 3,800 low-emission vehicles; and the redevelopment of 110 parks and historical gardens”.

“With the approval of the payment of the ninth rata, linked to the attainment of 50 objectives, Italy consolidates the European primacy in the implementation of the Pnrr for resources received and achieved results: 416 goals and goals, between reforms and strategic investments for growth, with concrete fallouts on families and enterprises. The Italian model of the Pnrr marked the transition from a logic of expenditure to a culture of reforms and structural investments. This is the road that will guide development policies after 2026, for a stronger Italy, cohesive and protagonist in global challenges.” Thus the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, commenting on the free way of the European Commission to the payment of the ninth and penultimate rata of the Pnrr, equal to 12.8 billion.
