ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Libyan Health Minister, Mohamed al-Ghuj, and the Italian Health Minister, Orazio Schillaci, discussed in Rome the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector.
And according to what stated by the Libyan Ministry of Health in a statement, the two examined the training of medical staff, the development of bone marrow transplants and the transfer of skills to improve health services, agreeing to continue the coordination to implement the achieved goals. The meeting is part of the efforts of the Libyan Ministry to expand international partnerships and strengthen the national health sector. Cooperation with Italy is a key element in the development of the health sector in the North African country.
