Pope Leo XIV at Mattarella “In the Principality of Monaco for the construction of the common good”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Pope Leo XIV departed in a helicopter for the Principality of Monaco. During the flight, the Holy Father launched a telegram to the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella in which the Pontiff explains to leave at the time of Monaco “desirable to encourage you the Christian witness and the construction of the common good”. To the head of state, he then directs a “cordial greeting”, along with “serious hopes for the spiritual, civil and social progress of the Italian nation”.

Four major appointments that will mark the apostolic journey: the courtesy visit to Prince Albert in the Princely Palace, the meeting with the Catholic community in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and that with the young and the catechumens in the square in front of the Church of Santa Devota. Finally, the final Mass at the Louis II Stadium where the Pope will take a golf-kart tour. Around 17.45, again by helicopter, Leo XIV will leave Munich to return to the Vatican.
