Pope Leo moves to the Apostolic Palace

VATICAN CITY (ITALPRESS) – Pope Leo XIV takes possession of the apartment in the Apostolic Palace, moving, with his closest collaborators, into the spaces available to his predecessors. It makes the Vatican Press Office known.

Until now the Holy Father lived in the Palazzo del Sant’Uffizio, his accommodation when he was prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops.

The last Pontiff to live in the Apostolic Palace was Benedict XVI. Pope Francis chose to live in Casa Santa Marta.
