PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – May is the month of awakening and is indissolubly linked to the figure of the mother. Throughout the month on the balconies of Villa Serena, in Palermo, you can admire an installation that transforms the clinic into a place of reflection through the art of mandala, symbols of unity, harmony and universal well-being. These are concepts which are fully reflected in the maternal figure, understood as a fulcrum of welcome and stability. The integration of mandalas in this installation is the goal of honoring motherhood in all its declination. It is meant to celebrate not only the biological bond, but also the motherhood of the heart and that deriving from a conscious choice, recognizing in every form of care the expression of a universal order and an unconditional love. The event is realized by the Association “The thread that unites” ODV. The work is entirely dedicated to health and prevention, celebrating life and care through the colours and geometric shapes of mandalas. The goal is to promote awareness about prevention and offer a moment of beauty and serenity to patients, patients and visitors of the structure. “ The thread that unites” is an active volunteering reality in Palermo, known for using creativity and craftsmanship (such as crochet and knitting) as tools of solidarity and social support. -photo press office Villa Serena –(ITALPRESS).
