ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The National Federation of Orders of Technical Health Care, Rehabilitation and Prevention (Fno Tsrm and Pstrp) announces that from September 14, 2026 it will be possible to submit applications for registration to Special Exhaust Lists reserved to the Osteopaths.
The decision, deliberated by the National Council of the Fno Tsrm and Pstrp at the session of 28 July last, marks an important step for the full recognition of the Osteopaths in the National Health Service. With the publication in the Official Journal of the Decree on Equality of Titles (DPCM 25 March 2026), the regulatory process initiated by law 3/2018 ended. The measure defines the criteria for the recognition of previous qualifications and professional experience gained, allowing professionals to enroll in the Order of Technical Health, Rehabilitation and Prevention (Order Tsrm and Pstrp) and to exercise the profession of Osteopate.
The National Federation is completing the last organizational tasks and in the coming weeks, on the institutional portal and on those of the 59 Territorial Orders, detailed information will be published for the presentation of the questions.
The Governing Councils of the Provincial and Interprovincial Orders will examine the requests and evaluate the documentation, in line with the provisions of the decree. “With the opening of the Special Exhaust Lists – says Diego Catania, President of the Fno Tsrm and Pstrp – a long path ends that has decreed full recognition of osteopathy in the SSN. Now, our goal is to accompany the Osteopaths during this transition, guaranteeing them the same safeguards, the same dignity and responsibility recognized to the other health professions represented by our Federation”. Thanks to this passage, thousands of professionals see the path of recognition of the profession, with greater guarantees for citizens and a more effective integration with other health professions.
