ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Before embarking on improbable parliamentary questions, I would invite Senator Elisa Pirro to study the rules governing the relationship between National Federations and Territorial Orders.” This is stated in a note by Senator Vincenzo D’Anna, president of the National Federation of Biologist Orders (FNOB), replying to the statements of the MP of the M5S who had asked “the intervention of Minister Schillaci” for alleged “gravious actions of the FNOB against the Order of Biologists of Lombardy (OBL)”.
D’Anna states that “the FNOB has powers of address and coordination on territorial Orders and has never violated the autonomy of the Lombard Order, but has limited itself to detecting a series of serious procedural violations, including the failure to approve the balance sheets and the prolonged inactivity, for entire months, of the statutory bodies. Moreover, for more than two years, the deliberative acts adopted have not been made public, nor have they been followed correct paths in the instruction of disciplinary proceedings to the employees”. The representative of the Italian Biologists adds that “the president of the OBL was suspended from the exercise of the profession for six months following serious conducts during the mandate“, although “the penalty is, at the moment, suspended for the appeal submitted to the CCCEPS, the second instance court”.
D’Anna defines “of all false” the claim that the FNOB would organize or promote events, such as that held in Naples on November 11, in support of the candidacy of Deputy Minister Edmondo Cirielli to the presidency of the Campania Region.
“The meeting – precise – had been organized by category associations of the outpatient specialist and I took part, as invited, only to discuss health issues. The FNOB has never joined or participated in political events or electoral propaganda. At the initiative quoted by Senator Pirro there were no party symbols, Federation logos or electoral material.” “For these reasons – D’Anna concludes – the unhealthy and mendacious statements of Senator Pirro present clear diffamatory profiles, if not slanderous. That is why I have already given a mandate to file a complaint to protect my honorability and that of the FNOB.”.
