Nocca, the fast growing Italian brand of gnocchi, inaugurated its first “quick-service” restaurant in the district of Nolita, in New York City. Located at 250 Mott Street, the new space, which will officially open to the public on 31 October 2025, brings to the American metropolis the unmistakable experience of soft, creamy and authentically Italian gnocchi signed Nocca, designed for those who want genuine and quality food, but with the practicality of modern life.
Nocca was born in 2015 from a simple but ambitious mission: return the gnocchi the recognition they deserve. After years of production and distribution experience, Nicholas Wooller identified a gap in the food world: gnocchi were often considered as a “accessory” of pasta. Decided to change this perception, Wooller wanted to offer a new identity more contemporary and together with Alessandro Sita a brand founded on a clear philosophy: food must be authentic, joyful and made with integrity. Today Nocca is recognized as the world’s first brand of 100% natural and long-served dumplings. With the new concept “quick-service” of Nolita, the brand brings to New York the Italian comfort food par excellence, in an accessible and contemporary version that does not give up taste or authenticity.
“Since the first day, the philosophy of Nocca has been to elevate gnomes from humble tradition to modern icons, joining generations and cultures in the respect of the Italian culinary soul,” said Nicholas Wooller. “We are excited about this first place in Nolita: it represents the concrete realization of our vision. The menu offers a careful selection of iconic dishes: Gnocchi al Pomodoro, alla Vodka, al Pesto, Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara e Bolognese. Each flow can be customized with additions such as burrata, Calabrian chili, extra virgin olive oil or Parmigiano Reggiano grated at the moment. The offer ranges from richer and traditional flavors to vegetarian, vegan, kosher and no dried fruit, with every dish prepared and cooked at the moment.
“New Yorkers live at a hectic pace, but this does not mean having to give up quality,” said Alessandro Sita. “With Nocca we want to redefine what can and must be a fast service of dumplings: a true, comforting food, rooted in the Italian tradition but thought for modern life. Each dish tells authenticity, strong taste and so much joy. ”

The design, signed by Jeanette Didone (By Black), stands out for bold colors, contemporary style and playful touches of Italian inspiration, creating a bright and convivivial environment, just like the kitchen it proposes.
