ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella has signed the decree with which, on a proposal from the President of the Council of Ministers, the resignations resigned by Senator Daniela Garnero Santanché from the office of Minister of Tourism and entrusts himself the interim of the dicastery to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Meloni had previously had a telephone interview with the President of the Republic to propose the recruitment of the Ministry of Tourism.
Meloni addresses “a thanks” to minister Santanchè, who in these years “has worked with great dedication and has assured his contribution to the recovery and relaunch of Italian tourism”, we read in a note of Palazzo Chigi. The Government “will continue to work to support and value a strategic asset of the national economy, which ensures prosperity, well-being and international prestige to Italy”, concludes the note.
