ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The financial maneuver of 2026 confirms the government’s commitment to public health and strengthens the right to health. We guarantee an extraordinary increase in resources for health, to make it increasingly efficient, accessible and universal.” That is what the Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci says. “There are important resources to be used to reduce waiting lists with funds for new recruitment and increase specificity allowances. We strengthen the activities of ER and prevention with particular attention to early diagnosis programs for oncological diseases and rare diseases,” adds the Minister.
“We also provide resources for mental health with an investment that recognizes the centrality of psychological well-being as an essential component of the overall health of people. In fact, with this budget law we give another concrete and lasting answer for a structural strengthening of the National Health Service and to ensure the health needs of all citizens.”.
