Iran, Tajani “Well the ceasefire, we are working for a peaceful solution”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Certainly it is a very positive fact to stop fighting for two weeks and goes in the direction of a desirable agreement. We are always working so that there is a peaceful solution to this conflict.” So the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, at TG5. “It’s good news for the civilian population of Iran, it’s good news for civilian populations in the Gulf area, it’s good news for the Israeli population and also for our economy. The price of oil is already falling under 100 dollars and this gives a breath of oxygen also to our system, because unfortunately a surge for the price of energy would have been a hard blow to our economy. Now we hope that these two weeks will turn into a period of agreements,” he added.

“Rightly, Iran cannot have the atomic bomb that would pose a danger to the whole area. Well that Americans no longer bomb the civilian population and therefore the negotiating solution is the best possible solution that we support together with all the countries of the European Union, so they are available to support all the actions that can lead to stop the war. Let us see what will happen in Lebanon because even there it seems to me that the situation is rather complicated,” said Tajani.

SALVINI “MOMENTANEO SOSPIRO DI SOLLIEVO”

“I think everyone was awake tonight, the reaction of these hours is that of all, not only of the government, is that of a momentary sigh of relief, because every day things change, when we talk in heavy terms of wars of a certain type. Now there are other days to find a diplomatic solution, not with weapons, and for this reason there is to thank all the protagonists who sat around a table”. The Vice-Premier and Minister Matteo Salvini said this during a press conference. “We hope both the beginning of a path, if it resumed the conflict would be a drama not only economically speaking. I hope everyone works on disarmament,” he added.
