ROMA (ITALPRESS) – A meeting of the Council of Ministers took place at Palazzo Chigi. The cdm extended the excise cut until May 1st.
“We have just approved a law decree where we prorogate the reduction of the excise already in existence and which would expire Monday until May 1st. There is a targeted intervention on farms to which 20% tax credit is extended, an intervention also for companies working on export”. So the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, at the press conference after the cdm. “The decree also incorporates the agreement with categories associations taken in week on Transition 5.0 to Mimit,” added Giorgetti.
“The burden of this measure is 500 million, for 200 million there is the self-covering that comes from the increase of the Iva jet, for the other 300 million were recovered from Ets and Co2 resources that had not yet been used,” said Giorgetti.
“The reflection at European level, if the situation does not change, will be inevitable. I have expressed this assessment already at the beginning of the conflict, I have reiterated it to the Eurogroup at the beginning of the week, I will do it in any international context because this is reality”, concluded Giorgetti.
