POZZALLO (ITALPRESS) – smiles, colors and so much emotion. These are the three elements that have characterized the award ceremony of the national contest “Let’s take part in the rainbow at the table” won by the “Rogasi” Institute of Pozzallo, in the province of Ragusa. The national contest, focusing on the theme of proper nutrition, has seen the classes of the plesso “Raganzino” of the Pozzallese Institute, taking inspiration from an engaging musical track “L’Arcobaleno in tavola”, a choreographed videoclip that promoted, in a fun and participated way, the benefits of fruit and vegetables consumption. The video of Sicilian students has collected the consents of the national jury, composed of the champions of the Illumina Team of Sport and Health, which has evaluated the more than 3,000 elaborates coming from more than 4,000 classes of 1.074 school plessi throughout Italy. On the stage of the cinematographer Garden have climbed the small protagonists who have performed in the award-winning video, under the eyes of the two testimonials of the Team Illumina Valerio Vermiglio, already captain of the Blue National of Volleyball and vice-campione olimpico in Athens 2004, and the twice champion of the world of karate, Stefano Maniscalco, in addition to the Director of the School and Sustainability of Sport and Health, Teresa Zompetti. Particularly moving, not only the award-winning young people, but also the teachers and parents present at the event attended by the Mayor of Pozzallo, Roberto Ammatuna. “Today Pozzallo is at party – said on stage the first citizen -. Receiving such an important prize on a national scale for a reality like ours fills us with joy and satisfaction.” After the award, space for sports activities coordinated by the tutor of “Scuola Active”, the project of Sport and Health and the Ministry of Education and Merit, in collaboration with the Minister for Sport and Youth, which promotes motor and physical activity in primary and secondary schools of the first degree of all Italy.
