We are working with President Meloni and Vice-President Tajani to bring out his profile in such a way as to allow Italy to express, for the first time in history, the Director General of the Fao. While having objectively different political paths we chose Maurizio Martina because he knows the agency well, the international agricultural world recognizes him high skills and shares with us the idea of bringing not only developing nations to food self-sufficiency, but giving their citizens the opportunity to choose quality food”.
