ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The former MP M5S Alessandro Di Battista – according to what is learned – started with a medical flight from Havana to return to Italy. The arrival should be scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. While he was in Cuba to carry out a reportage, on 28 August he was admitted due to a strong headache, first Santa Clara and then in Havana. After a first attempt to return on September 4, due to the deterioration of the conditions, the doctors had decided to intervene acting.
Two days ago the association Schierarsi, founded by Di Battista, had updated on his state of health saying that he was in the intensive care department of Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico Hermanos Ameijeiras, without adding details about diagnosis and prognosis.
The president of the association Schierarsi, Luca di Giuseppe, on Instagram writes: “Good return, my brother. See you in Rome in a few hours. Thanks again to all Cuban doctors who took care of Alexander on these endless days”, posting the photo of the ambulance with which the former pentastellato departed from Cuba.
