ROMA (ITALPRESS) – New meeting at Palazzo Chigi to define the work decree to be approved in view of the First May, as it is learned from sources of Palazzo Chigi. In return from the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, convened the competent ministers to finalize a measure aimed at responding to the needs of workers and enterprises.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Presidents of the Council, Antonio Tajani and Matteo Salvini (in video connection), the Ministers Marina Calderone, Giancarlo Giorgetti and Tommaso Foti, the Undersecretary with delegation to the South Luigi Sbarra, the Undersecretaries to the Chairmanship of the Giovanbattista Fazzolari and Alfredo Mantovano Council, as well as the General Minister of the State, Daria Perrotta. The intervention takes on an urgent nature in the light of the international context, which puts the labour market under strong pressure, requiring preventive and structural action.
The objective is the adoption of an organic package of measures to support the most exposed categories to dear life, with interventions aimed at ensuring fair pay. Particular attention will be paid to young people and women, to consolidate the positive signals already recorded and enhance the potential. It also works at a more incisive contrast to the phenomena of exploitation and corporalate.
