GODRANO (PALERMO) (ITALPRESS) – It was inaugurated this morning in Godrano the first House of the Community realized by the Asp of Palermo with funds of the PNRR, a territorial garrison that represents one of the cornerstones of the new network of proximity provided by Mission 6 – Health. Among others, the Mayor of Godrano, Daniele Bellini participated in the ceremony; representing the Mayor of the Metropolitan City, the Mayor of Casteldaccia, Giovanni Di Giacinto; the first citizens of the municipalities of the area; the Health Director of the Asp of Palermo, Antonino Levita, the Administrative Director, Ignazio Del Campo, the President of the Order of the Doctors of Palermo, Salavatore Amato; the President of the Order of the Nurses of Palermo, Nino Amato and the Regional Deputy Gaspare Vitrano. The structure, already operational, houses the Service of Career Continuity, the clinic of the doctor of general medicine, an active withdrawal point on Wednesday, the post of delivery of the drugs (always on Wednesday) and the specialized clinic of pneumology. These will soon be added to cardiology and diabetics. The spaces also include an area dedicated to Integrated Home Care (ADI), a meeting room and technical premises for changing rooms and warehouses.“The House of the Community of Godrano – said Antonino Levita, Director of Health of the Asp of Palermo – is a fundamental part of the construction of a more accessible, integrated and close to the real needs of people. It is a modern, sustainable and designed to offer continuous services, in a territory that needed a strong and stable presidio.” The intervention on the property concerned a complete renovation and re-functionalization of the premises: new distribution of the interior spaces, replacement of the fixtures, refurbishment of the water systems and the centralized summer and winter air conditioning systems. A 20 kW photovoltaic system was also installed, making the building independent from the energy point of view. The integrated contract – executive design and work – was entrusted through open competition in a framework agreement completed by Invitalia as a commissioning center. The total cost of the intervention, including furnishings, sanitary equipment and connections, was 545,234,53 euros, entirely funded by the National Resumption and Resilience Plan. “With this intervention – said the Administrative Director of the Asp of Palermo, Ignazio Del Campo – we give concreteness to the objectives of the PNRR and provide the community with an efficient, energyly autonomous and functional building. Public investment translates into quality services and an organizational model that looks at proximity and innovation.” In the provincial territory, the Asp of Palermo has already completed the renovation works of other 7 Houses of the Community (Ventimiglia, Valledolmo, Cerda, Cinisi, Monreale, Capaci and Alimena) which, once completed the installations, will be short accessible by users.
