CATANIA (ITALPRESS) – The new director of the Operational Unit of Otorinolaringoiatria of the Arnas Garibaldi of Catania has officially settled. This is Dr. Alfio Alfonzo Azzolina, a professional of consolidated clinical and scientific experience in the otolaryngric sector.
The formalization of the assignment took place yesterday with the signing of the contract in the presence of the general director of the Arnas Garibaldi, Doctor Giuseppe Giammanco. Subsequently, the new director was presented to the health workers of the hospital during a meeting attended by the administrative director, Dr. Carmelo Ferrara, and the health director, Doctor Mauro Sapienza.
The doctor Azzolina graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania in 1994 and graduated in Otolaryngology from the University of Messina in 1998. Throughout his career, he has supported a significant scientific production, and has been the author of numerous specialist publications.
He arrives at the Arnas Garibaldi from the Hospitaller for the Cannizzaro Emergency of Catania, where he served almost seventeen years with the role of medical manager, developing an extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of the main pathologies of otolaryngology competence.
