ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The reform of justice is a historical reform that Italians have been waiting for more than 30 years. The government has done its duty by bringing to completion one of the most important points of the program, now citizens are called to choose whether to change or not the judicial system that has been seen in recent years.” And above all, the referendum “is not a vote on Giorgia Meloni, as someone would like to pass”. Thus Arianna Meloni, head of the political secretariat of Fratelli d’Italia, interviewed by Corriere della Sera.
“The judgement on what the government has done will arrive in the elections of 2027 – continues – until that day we will continue to work for the Italians and for our nation, strong of the political mandate received. What must be clear is that governments pass, reforms remain, and justice reform is a great reform.”.
The possibility of an early vote is categorical: “There is no possibility of early elections. As long as there is the support of the majority, which has never failed, we will move forward. Then we will introduce ourselves to voters and ask them if they want to continue on the road we have undertaken. Knowing that, whatever the judgment will be, we have the clear conscience of those who did everything only for the good of the Italians”, he concludes.
