On Thursday, October 23, Alessio’s Café officially inaugurated a new headquarters at 1525 Harbor Boulevard, within The Reserve at Estuary, bringing on the waterfront of Weehawken the Italian format that in recent years has conquered Hudson County.
Harbor Boulevard marks the fifth place of the brand founded by Luca Infantino, after the success obtained in Hoboken and Jersey City with the two bars, a restaurant, a gourmet market and two seasonal kiosks. The new room, about 200 square meters, directly overlooking the riverfront, with bright interior spaces with modern design and an outdoor area that opens onto Manhattan skyline. The setting is the one that always characterizes Alessio’s: an informal but nice place, where you can pass for an espresso, a croissant or a sandwich, stop to work or simply meet. In the menu you will find the classics signed Alessio: Italian desserts, breakfast sandwiches, pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, salads and artisanal coffee, all prepared with top quality ingredients from Italy.
The new place in Weehawken represents a return to the origins for Luca, who lived here his early American years, and the choice of The Reserve at Estuary reflects the desire to enter a residential and refined context, in full growth, with direct views of the Hudson and the skyline of New York.

On October 23rd, the inaugural ceremony was held from 12:00 to 13:00, in the presence of the mayor of Weehawken Richard Turner and the executives of Hartz Mountain Industries, to officially welcome Alessio’s in the neighborhood. In the evening, from 18:30 to 21:30, the inauguration was open to the public with appetizers, drinks, a complete taste of the menu, from sandwiches and pastries for breakfast to pizzas, pasta and salads.
“We are proud to be an activity rooted in the community, a place where everyone feels at home and can find their origins and a point of reference”, said Luca Infantino summarizing the brand’s philosophy: creating cozy, authentic and inclusive spaces, where food becomes a way to build ties

Founded in 2020 by Luca Infantino, born and raised in Italy and resident in Weehawken, Alessio’s has become one of the most beloved places in the area for the authenticity of flavors and community spirit. After living in Weehawken, Luca moved to Hoboken and began his career in the fashion industry, before embarking on the restaurant road with the opening of the first Alessio’s Café at 539 Park Avenue in 2020. Since then, the brand has expanded with Alessio’s Jersey City at 99 Franklin Street, opened in summer 2023, Terrace by Alessio’s at 1201 Madison Street in the Northwest Resiliency Park in Hoboken, opened in spring 2024, and Casa Italia Gourmet Market at 600 Park Avenue, inaugurated in April 2024. During the summer months, Alessio’s is also present with two kiosks at Pier A Park, where it serves ice creams, coffee and light snacks overlooking Manhattan.

With the opening of Weehawken, Alessio’s consolidates its presence in New Jersey and strengthens its identity as a meeting point dedicated to those seeking quality, simplicity and an authentic experience of Italian hospitality.
