As Phases we feel the duty to accompany our assistants and their families on this path, alongside health protection a culture of health that concerns every age. Cinema helps us make this message close to people, through stories and experiences in which to recognize each other”. Presented in September in Venice, as part of the 83rd International Film Festival, the short film arrives in the Capital a few days from the end of the Film Festival in Rome. Produced by The Skill Group, directed by Lorenzo Munegato and Alberto Pezzella, it collects the testimonies of doctors, psychologists, university teachers and longevity specialists, around four pillars: physical health, psychological well-being, sports and nutrition. In the short film also a performance of the young actress Sofia Tocci. In the debate that followed the screening, Casasco stressed that “physical exercise is fundamental to primary, secondary and tertiary prevention and should be prescribed as a drug. Prevention must start from schools, even from kindergartens, and continue in workplaces and structures for the elderly. Physical activity can become a resource for the public health system, lowering costs: gains health and also gains the economy.” At the centre of the short film also Sport Illumina, the project conceived by Sport and Health and promoted by the Minister for Sport and Youth through the Department for Sport, which transforms urban spaces into free sports areas and accessible to all ages. A concrete example of how to approach the movement to everyday life and create social opportunities. “Sport Illumina starts from regenerating the territories through sport, creating places of aggregation, community and inclusiveness. Many of our projects, just like this, aim to involve all generations and bind the development of the territory to prevention and correct lifestyles. And they also have a remarkable impact on the National Health System: from the evaluation conducted with Agenas it emerged that every euro invested in the projects of Sport and Health has produced a saving of 2,4 euros”, Ciuffetti pointed out at the margin of the projection. In the voice of the institutions, the sport experience of the champion Venanzio Ortis has been added. “When I stopped high-level activity I had to adapt to a life not from athlete, but sport left me the mark. I went to tennis, cycling, climbing: motorsporti never left her. At a certain age the result no longer makes sense: the movement is a tame to stay better and face the days with lighterness,” he told.
