Mattarella “In times of uncertainty the future must be drawn by young people”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “They are not easy times, they are particularly complex times, in which uncertainty is a widespread figure, at some time it is even unpredictable, which seems the figure of these years in international life. But this uncertainty suggests that, in reality, the future is not preconstituted, it depends on us, it must be designed, and it must be designed especially by young people, who are ready to further assume the guidance of our society.” This was said by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, receiving to the Quirinale a delegation of Villa Nazareth, College of Merit, led by Cardinal Pietro Parolin. “It is this building, this translating values into concrete behaviour, this building our society your task, accompanied by the former students – he added. And it is a task our country needs, as the entire world community needs it.”.

“For this reason – Mattarella has emphasized – the gratitude that I express is really sincere for this role: because Villa Nazareth expresses, in front of the alternative that is resignation and closure in itself, taking responsibility and building of the future according to positive values; this second road, the choice of this second road, inspires responsibility, transmits trust, and we need it”.
