GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – Smart Clinic, the network of health facilities of the San Donato Group, arrives in Genoa, with the inauguration of the new Smart Clinic Kinesia polyspecialistic center of the network born from the joint venture between Gruppo San Donato and Generali. The inauguration was attended by the leaders of Smart Clinic and Generali Italia, including Elena Bottinelli, CEO of Smart Clinc, and Francesco Bardelli, Chief Health&Welfare and Broker Management Officer of Generali Italia. Beside them a “very well known” presence in the city, that of Fabio Galante, former Genoa player.
The new centre takes you to the heart of Genoa, in via Zara in Albaro, a model of health care that focuses the person and his health needs, with a multidisciplinary offer and special attention to the care of musculoskeletal diseases and the recovery of mobility.
The opening of Genoa is part of the development path of the Smart Clinic network, already present in several provinces of Lombardy, born from the joint venture between Generali Italy, Gruppo San Donato and GKSD, to offer quality health services, designed to meet the needs of a modern health, through high clinical standards, advanced technologies and personalized paths. The Smart Clinic of Genoa, which follows those of Turin and Rome, represents a further stage of this growth path at national level.
The partnership brings together the health know-how of the San Donato Group, the first Italian hospital group, which in its 63 offices, of which 18 hospitals, cares more than 5 million patients a year, and the strength of Generali, with approximately 11 million customers and a network present throughout the territory. Thanks to the agreement, Generali customers can easily access the performance of Smart Clinics, but the network is still open to all citizens, including insured with major mortgages, cashiers, health funds and insurance companies.
Clinic Kinesia offers a wide range of specialties, including Neurosurgical, Orthopaedic and Traumatology, Hand and Foot Surgery, Physiology and Physiotherapy, Antalgic Therapy, Neurology, Vascular Surgery, Dermatology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Diagnostics for Images (Ecotherapy) The structure also has a Center for joint pathologies, with a specific focus on hand and foot. A distinctive element of the Genoese centre is the approach to the care and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal diseases, through the integration of specialist skills and cutting-edge technologies. Particular attention is also devoted to rehabilitation of the spine with targeted and synergistic paths among the different professionals.
Among the areas of greatest interest is regenerative medicine, with paths designed to accompany the patient in the management of muscle-tenance and joint problems through targeted and customized solutions. The treatments available include infiltrations with PRP (plasm rich in platelets), a procedure that uses blood components of the same patient to support tissue repair processes. The treatment can be indicated, after a specialist evaluation, in the presence of some tendon, muscle and ligament lesions and certain joint pathologies.
