MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “The country is no stronger than before but more fragile, so our party has a project to relaunch growth and work.” So in an interview with Roberto Sommella, director of MF Milano Finanza, the secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, according to which “the growth is zero despite the Pnrr, Italy must start growing again. Three things are urgently needed that this government, despite the vast majority, failed to do: reduce energy costs, increase income and share investments.”.

The salaries according to Istat decreased by 9% and food increased by 25% over the last four years. And tax pressure rose to 43% while industrial production fell for three years below. This means that the purchasing power of millions of Italians has been reduced.”.
“We also propose in Parliament – he adds – to increase the strength and role of the Unique Energy Purchaser, which deals with large volumes with the power puchase agreement, in order to provide energy at stable prices to the pmes that often pay the highest price of the crisis. Third point: to improve the quality of life of people we want to defend school and public health from cuts and break down waiting lists. Finally, to the question on a three-year budget as a secretary of the PD, he replied: “After the defeat of 2022, there was no more the center left and the Pd was given to be shot. And instead we reversed this trend, we have grown more than any other European socialist party, we have also restored the budget of the party, having returned from the integration fund after eight years our workers and touched the record of two per thousand, raised over 40%.
