The premier Giorgia Meloni, interviewed by “Il Giornale”.
“It makes a lot to reflect, then, that the left never went down to the square to express solidarity on the occasion of the death in service of an officer of law enforcement,” he added.
Speaking instead of the Roggero case, Meloni said “It is obvious to all, except to the left, that there is a question of proportionality of the penises that are being processed. You can not give eight years to a pedophile or less than ten years in group rape cases and then condemn a common 72-year-old citizen to spend the rest of his days in prison, because he reacted to a gang of robbers who had assaulted his store, threatening him and his family dead. How can one ask a common citizen to have, in a context of high danger, stress and emotional peaks, the cold blood necessary to understand when the danger came less, or that the threat has ceased? These are difficult situations to manage also for professionals trained at this, let alone for a normal citizen. It is not possible to take account of this.”.
