ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Marcello Cattani was unanimously confirmed at the chairmanship of Farmindustria, during the private assembly of the association of pharmaceutical companies. This is the third mandate for Cattani, which will be in office for the two-year period 2026-2028. Cattani – Parmesan, 54 years old, graduated in Biological Sciences at a biomolecular address, with a specialization in Chemistry and Food Technology – is president and Ad of Sanofi Italy and Malta. He is also in the General Council of Confindustria and the General Council of Assolombarda. Since October 2022 he has been president of the Club Santé Italia, which brings together 40 French companies in Italy in the medical-pharmaceutical field. The Assembly also elected the Presidency Committee composed of five Vice-Presidents: Fulvio Berardo (Astellas); Massimo Di Martino (Abiogen); Massimiliano Florio (SO.SE.PHARM); Innocent Raphael (Chiesi); Elias Khalil (Eli Lilly).
