Health, in Milan, the first summit of Metabolomica

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Over a thousand health professionals participated in the first edition of the Metabolomica Summit 2026, confirming Milan as the seat of the most important European event dedicated to clinical metabolomics. The event, sold out and hosted at the Centro Congressi Stella Polare di Fiera Milano Rho, brought together doctors, biologists, nutritionists, dietists and researchers from all over Italy and abroad, interested in the clinical applications of this scientific discipline in prevention, management of chronic conditions and personalized medicine. Metabolomics studies the metabolites present in the body, offering a functional and dynamic vision of cell metabolism. Through precise analysis of biochemical imbalances, inflammation and nutritional deficiencies, it allows to support standard therapies with objective data, favoring integrated and individualized approaches. This is not alternative medicine, but evidence-based support for traditional clinical practice, developed in collaboration with qualified health professionals. Behind the organization of the Summit there is also a human affair that marked the founders of Meetab. Loris Zoppelletto and Fabio Arcaro were confronted with serious health problems of their children, for which traditional ways did not offer satisfactory answers. In the search for concrete solutions, they met the approach of Dr. Dimitris Tsoukalas, based on nutritional precision medicine and metabolomics. “The targeted protocols – Meetab explains in a note – have allowed a significant improvement in the condition of children, restoring their health and quality of life. This experience has not stopped on the personal level: it has pushed the founders to create Meetab to spread rigorous knowledge and high quality tools among health professionals, always in integration with conventional therapies.” Professor and Professor of Medicine “The Summit represented a concrete bridge between advanced research and daily clinical practice, helping to consolidate a culture of health based on scientific data and personalized approaches – says Meetab. The great success of participation – with more than 1,000 professionals, international presences and sold out – shows the growing interest in clinical metabolomics as a tool to support standard therapies.” The organizers have already announced their intention to make the Summit an annual reference event for the scientific and professional community.
