ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, today received the Prime Minister of the Government of Libyan National Unit, Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibeh. It discussed the ways in which to further strengthen already solid bilateral cooperation, with particular reference to economic relations and investment in the energy sector. The two Leaders then reaffirmed the common commitment to the management of migratory phenomena by also reviewing the main ongoing collaboration activities with international partners such as Turkey and Qatar. Finally, the President of the Council reiterated full Italian support for a political process, guided by Libya and facilitated by the United Nations.
