ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “We follow with great concern the escalation in the Gulf region and fully understand the apprehension of the countries of the area, to which we have expressed and continue to express our solidarity. No more missiles, no more drones.” It is one of the steps of the interview of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani at Sky News Arabia. The Minister recalled that in the area affected by the conflict there are about 100,000 Italian citizens, many of whom in the United Arab Emirates, thanking the Emiratine authorities for the insured support of the Italian community and for the collaboration in guaranteeing assistance to the compatriots during the attacks. Europe works for peace, wants the objective of the two peoples and two states to be reached in Palestine, is contrary to Israel taking part in the West Bank, but Europe is also contrary to the idea that Iran can have an atomic bomb.” With reference to a possible attack on Europe, Tajani said: “I hope this never happens, it would be unacceptable.
