The Board of Directors of Westchester County establishes the “Cristiana Pegoraro Day”

On the occasion of the seventh annual edition of the Women’s Day 2026, held in New York at the famous Triad Theater the Board of Directors of Westchester County, New York, awarded the artist Cristiana Pegoraro, guest of honor of the evening, establishing the “Christian Pegoraro Day”, which will be celebrated on March 28, 2026.

The pianist Cristiana Pegoraro, an artist known all over the world, is artistic director of the famous Narnia Festival and, in addition to his concert career on the five continents and his wide discography which includes five CDs with his compositions is also author of the book of poems “Ithaka” and a collection of fairy tales for children taken from operas.

Cristiana has received over 40 international awards, including the World Peace Award of the United Nations Italian Cultural Club, New York; the Golden Apple Bellisario Award of the Marisa Bellisario Foundation; the Sympathy Award and the “Fabrizio Frizzi” Award from the Gigi Ghirotti Onlus National Foundation, as “Ambassador of Italian Culture in the World”.
