Export. Together to protect Made in Italy: a conference that becomes a story of the future

Made in Italy is not only a trademark. It is a legacy. It is the story of a country that creates, innovates, exports beauty and talent. It is one of the most precious assets of Italy, and today more than ever represents a living bridge between our identity and the world.

The latest ISTAT data confirms this: in 2025 Italian exports to the United States grew by 7.2%, reaching 69.6 billion euros. A result that tells the strength of our enterprises, their ability to compete and to excite beyond the ocean.

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani recalled that this success is the result of a clear strategy: to support businesses, to strengthen the presence in traditional markets such as the American one and to open new roads to internationalization. A commitment that in 2026 will also lead to a large commercial, scientific and technological Forum in Miami, and a series of initiatives across the country to accompany especially small and medium-sized enterprises towards new horizons.

This was discussed in the prestigious Hall of the Queen of the Chamber of Deputies, during the Export conference. Together to protect the Made in Italy in the world, led by Leonardo Bozzi and Phil Baglini and who brought together entrepreneurs, artisans, professionals and Italian communities in the world.

On the table, crucial themes:

• sacrifice as an engine of the enterprise,• the value of teamwork,• the objective of 700 billion export by 2027,• the defense of the true Made in Italy by Italian Sounding,• the role of SMEs as the heart of the national economy,• the need for an educational system capable of dialogue with the productive world today and tomorrow.

During the event, the Brand Ambassador Award was awarded, which celebrates those who bring Italy to the world with authenticity, talent and vision.

Among the most intense moments, the bestowal of the Brand Ambassador Made in Italy to the largest Apulian community in the world: the Italian-Americans of North America, custodians of the most important Italian event in New Jersey, the Hoboken Italian Festival the feast of Madonna dei Martiri, which in 2026 celebrates a historic milestone: 100 years of Italian tradition overseas.

A century of devotion, culture, music, gastronomy, roots. A century in which the Molfette community emigrated to the United States has guarded and handed down, from generation to generation, faith in Our Lady of Martyrs and love for their land, promotion of a “root tourism”.

To withdraw the award, Roberto Pansini, appointed International Ambassador of the Festival. A recognition that is not only symbolic: it is confirmation of a long, coherent, passionate path. The presence in Montecitorio was not a simple institutional participation, but the testimony of a constant commitment: to tell Puglia and Molfetta through an event that every year attracts over 250,000 people, between American families and Italian communities from all over the States.

Authenticity, competence, identity: this is what makes Made in Italy great in the world. And this is what will make of the 100th anniversary of the Hoboken Italian Festival, from 10 to 13 September 2026, a historical appointment, with the presence of Italian and American institutions united in a transoceanic embrace.

An Italian that sings, creates, builds. Among those present at the conference also Albano Carrisi, artist and producer of wine, who innate the Italian hymn remembering that every success – in the company as in life – comes from sacrifices, passion and perseverance.

The ceramic works, delivered to the award-winning, were created by the Apulian artist the ceramic master Agostino Branca, in his workshop in Tricase.
