As with the rest, defects, gaps and errors are recorded, and criticisms about the activities of other institutions of the Republic are possible, both parties to the legislative, executive, judicial power.” This was said by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking to the plenum of the Higher Council of the judiciary.
“In this place, which remains and must remain strictly institutional, and extraneous to themes or disputes of a political nature, as President of the Republic I feel the need to firmly renew the exhortation to mutual respect, at any time, in any circumstances, in the interest of the Republic,” he added.
