“Buen Camino” by Checco Zalone is an absolute record of recesses for a Christmas film

“Buen Camino” confirms its primacy for Christmas holidays: in its first four days of programming in Italian cinemas with 27 million euros (26.921.300 euros), an average of 34,847 euros in 771 cinemas, 3.316.838 spectators and a market share of 71.4%.

An absolute record for the comedy with Checco Zalone directed by Gennaro Nunziante in the halls from Thursday 25 December: This is the best opening ever for a Christmas movie.

The film released by Medusa Film draws the film market that grows by 256.5% compared to the previous weekend and 87% compared to the same weekend of 2024.

A success involving all regions, from the North to the South, and which is also strengthened in comparison with the two previous films of Checco Zalone. “That I go” had opened at 22,792,000 euros and “Tolo Tolo” at 30,251,903 but the comparison should be read in the light of an important data: both of those films had come out on New Year’s Eve, historically the strongest day of the year for the Italian box office, and “Tolo Tolo” had benefited from a day more than “Buen Camino” (on January 1, 2020 it was a Wednesday).

“Buen Camino” is produced by Marco Cohen, Benedetto Habib, Fabrizio Donvito, Daniel Campos Pavoncelli and is an Indiana Production production with Medusa Film in collaboration with MZL and in collaboration with Netflix realized by Indiana Production, a Vuelta company.
