BARI (ITALPRESS) – The event promoted by LILTXMAS 2025, the Italian League for the Fight against Tumori, the Metropolitan Association of Bari, dedicated to prevention, held last weekend in Piazza Massari. Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Bari and the Pinerolo Mechanical Brigade of the Italian Army, LILTXMAS 2025 was dedicated to the memory of Giovanni Pesce, a generous harassed citizen, who chose to support the mission of LILT Bari through an important donation aimed at spreading the culture of prevention. The emotion has intensely scented the air during the meeting with the family of Mr. Fish, culminated with the delivery of a thank-you plate by LILT to Antonio Susca, nephew of Giovanni Pesce. In the course of the two days in the mobile clinic, with the coordination of Dr. Gianni Izzi, health director of Lilt Bari, senological visits and, with the help of technicians Emanuele Fiore and Gianluca Martino, ultrasound and mammographs and urological visits, by Dr. Salvatore Liguigli. While, in the comfortable tensostructure, information meetings were held on cancer prevention and nutritional visits by the doctor Gabriella Di Bari and Angela Valeriano. Two suspect cases, which require further diagnostic investigations, found by radiologist experts on 62 mammographs carried out.
