ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, took part this afternoon in a video link meeting of the Coalition of the volenterosis, to which the Secretary of State of the American Rubio participated.
During his speech, President Meloni expressed “appreciation for the negotiating process launched in Geneva on an American impulse and stressed the importance of cohesion in support of a path aimed at a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. In this context, the need for solid security shared between the two shores of the Atlantic was also reaffirmed.” President Meloni finally expressed “the hope that Russia will take this new opportunity to contribute constructively to peace”.
