ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “I believe that with a changing world and a growing population, citizens ask us more and more health. That is why we have to focus a lot, and we are doing it, on prevention.” The Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, present at the General States of Health of Lazio, organized today and tomorrow at the Sistine Corsie. “We must have a strong alliance and with the regions. In the last financial law there are 500 million on prevention, so regions must invest in this. If we want to have an efficient national health service that gives to all new drugs and new therapies that biomedical research makes available we must decrease the number of people who are suffering from diseases doing so much prevention.” He added the minister by defining this the most important message to spread. “With the Lazio Region and President Rocca there has always been a great synergy since the beginning. This is the road we want to continue pursuing.”.
“The waiting lists are an important problem on which the government put the face. We are working with the regions.” Schillaci has specified that on this issue the node is not only linked to greater funds, that it has specified, “in the last financial there are to hire nurses, doctors and health workers”, but it is, it has explained, “a problem of organs”.
