Pnrr, Meloni “We are at the last mile, common protagonists of a decisive challenge”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The Municipalities – together with the Regions, Provinces, Metropolitan City and Central Administrations – are the protagonists of another decisive challenge, which is the landing of the investments of the National Plan of recovery and resilience. We are experiencing a crucial phase in the implementation of the Plan, and every effort must be aimed at completing the planned interventions.” Thus the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, in his message to the 42nd Annual Assembly of Anci, in progress in Bologna.

“The scale of resources, strict implementation time and the dense timetable agreed at European level do not allow pauses. So far we have done a good job, also thanks to the enormous effort made by each of you, that you interpreted the ambition of the PNRR as a great opportunity of growth and innovation of the administrative capacity. But we must not stop because, as sport teaches us, is the last mile what determines a victory or defeat – continues Meloni. And we must all remain extremely focused on the goal, with that team game that has allowed us so far to be in the first place in Europe for goals achieved and financial advancement of the PNRR”.

“The government will pay close attention to the comments, suggestions, requests, criticisms, including of course, that will emerge from your work. And he’s gonna do it, honey. The large and qualified government delegation that will take part in the various sessions of these days is ready to ensure answers and to the merits of the questions. With that spirit and that approach that, in these years, has allowed us to build together innovative solutions for the good of our citizens – concludes the premier -. It is a working method that enriches everyone, and that allows to find concrete answers to the problems of families, our enterprises, our communities. This is the direction we want to continue with the Italian mayors and administrators.”.
