ROMA (ITALPRESS) – On November 14th, from 15 to 17, in the Guglielmo Marconi room in Piazza Pia 3 in Rome, will take place the conference “The Word instrument of Peace, Truth and Justice”, in charge for the presentation of the volume of Biagio Maimone, journalist and writer, entitled “The creative communication for socio-humanitarian development”, published by Casa Editrice Tracceperlameta. The meeting will be introduced by the TV host Paky Arcella. The works of Biagio Maimone, author of the work will follow. Claudio Brachino, journalist and editorialist of the Italpress Agency; Gianni Todini, journalist and Director of the Agency Askanews; Enea Trevisan, Founder of Ealixir Inc., expert in digital reputation and communication; Maria Maimone, philosopher of communication and founder site “Progetto di Vita per il Sud”; Joseph Lu, pianist and composer; Gaia Simonetti, journalist, fair play manager, writer and sports communication expert; Valentina Faloni, Lecturer, PhD in Communication and Social Research, Specialized in narrative and creative methodologies, Autrice and Héctor Villanueva, CEO and Founder of the “Expo dei Popoli, delle Culture e della Solidarietà”, creator of the “Milano We”. The Conference “inspires the Apostolic Blessing of His Holiness Pope Francis, who accompanies the work of Maimone and constitutes its spiritual and cultural sap”, reads in a note.

The aim of the meeting is to highlight the profound purpose of the volume “Creative Communication for socio-humanitarian development”, i.e. the recovery of the authentic and vital meaning of the Word, placing it at the service of human and spiritual emancipation, so that – as Pope Francis states – it becomes a vehicle of truth and charity. Maimone is inspired by the values of the Church of the Dialogue of Pope Francis and the missionary Church of Pope Leo XIV, whose action draws vigor from the social doctrine of the Church and the work of evangelization. The author proposes the need to promote a new communication paradigm that places the human relationship at the centre and, even more, the moral and social emancipation of contemporary man. Moving from the finding of the countless distorted communications conveyed by the media, social networks and some political contexts – carriers of a subculture that impoverishes civil society and deteriorates human relations – Maimone states the urgency of a language free from lies, offenses and turpiloquium. Minute violence, cyberbullying and hatred, which generate conflicts and death, must not be shrouded by silence, but opposed by ethical and profound commitment to discipline the use of the word, so that it does not become an instrument of aggression or origin of phenomena of bullying or harmful communications to the education of young people, leading society to moral involution.

Particular attention will be paid to the value of the musical message as a universal language of union and hope. In this perspective, the video of the song “Kiev”, by pianist Joseph Lu, an award-winning artist in the United States, will be projected. “The work of Maimone, besides having received the Apostolic Blessing of His Holiness Pope Francis, has obtained significant messages of appreciation from Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See; from Monsignor Rino Fisichella; from Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi; and from Imam Nader Akkad, of the Great Mosque of Rome – continues the note -. The volume is gaining great interest, as it proposes the construction of a new communication model based on truth, solidarity and moral emancipation of contemporary society. The key element of Maimone’s thought is solidarity communication, understood as an indispensable precondition for socio-human development, together with the culture of beauty, conceived as an ethical and moral end for the realization of social justice”.
