ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “In the last three years Anas has recorded a significant growth of its workforce with an increase of more than 1,000 employees equal to 15% of the workforce. The industrial plan previews within 2028 a further increase of more than 900 people, +12% regarding today”. This was said by the managing director of Anas, Claudio Andrea Gemme, during a lectio magistralis at the University of Rome LUMSA. “In detail – continues the Ad Gemme – in the last 36 months approximately 2,000 resources have been inserted, without considering the staff engaged in seasonal activities, of which 75% destined to the technical areas and of the network. A significant share of nearly half of the entrances involved key roles such as Work Managers, Operating Directors, Shipyard Inspectors and Art Observers. The entrances affected the entire national territory (32% North; 41% Center; 27% South). These actions allow ANAS to address the challenges of infrastructure and transport and ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.”.
Among the points touched by the managing director during his intervention the economic commitment of the company: during this year, it has started competitions for a total value of 2.1 billion euros, of which about 1.9 billion published by the Directorate-General and the remaining 190 million euros from the Territorial Structures. “Our work – Gemme concludes – is not a mere execution of works but an impact on the economic and social future of the territories. Every investment in infrastructure is a direct contribution to the competitiveness and quality of life of our country. This sector, as several international studies claim, is the most powerful multiplier of wealth. I remember in particular that behind each yard Anas, behind each work there is the creation of stable and qualified jobs, greater road safety and an improvement of connectivity between territories. In summary, a tangible improvement in the life of all Italians.”.
