ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The definitive approval by the European Council of the revision of the Italian PNRR confirms once again the solid and credible work of the Government in the implementation of the Plan. The review maintains unchanged the financial allocation of 194.4 billion euros, stressing the commitment to continue with concreteness the reforms and strategic investments. This result strengthens Italy’s position in Europe and demonstrates how Italy can translate ambitions into concrete results, ensuring full use of European resources for the benefit of citizens and the economy.” The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, declared this, after the definitive approval of the Italian PNRR review, prepared in line with the addresses of the Commission contained in the Communication of 4 June last.
“In the coming days – he has Meloni – we expect from the European Commission the free way to payment of the eighth rata, pairs to 12,8 billion euros, that will bring to beyond 153 billion the total resources received from Italy. We also want to submit the request for payment of the ninth and penultimate installment of the Plan by the end of the year.”.
